Fitting Aftermarket heated seats

Hi All,

When clearing through the loft recently I found a Waeco heated seat kit which I intended to put in the Alfa, but never quite got around to. So have decided to drop them in the Altea, hopefully this coming weekend.

Has anyone tried this or got some experience of taking the seats out and/or stripping them down enough to get the pads in?

Looking for any hints/tips/possible gotchyas before I start as it's not going to be easy to nip to Halfords halfway through if required.

Gotta be honest,i've never hopped in the altea and though "Oh these seats are cold" wouldn't bother myself!
Don't forget the seats have airbags,so be carefull when stripping them!

They're probably not bad as they are not leather, but on those freezing cold days they really make a journey more comfortable.

Never had them,but my mates golf gti has them! I'd been drinking on a lift home,and though i'd sh*t myself!

Yes, they can give you that pee'd yourself feeling if you don't realise they are one
