Ok so I have just started to remove my head unit on my 55 mk2 Leon sport, I did so with 4x cable ties and 3 credit cards so simple, now my break at work has finished so at lunch time I will start to wire the kit in 10 minutes work so far. Pictures to follow
Everything going great, only 1 wire left, the 12v feed to the parrot. Where the hell do I link this in. I have tried the different wires on the can interface, I'm thinking 12v aux socket in console ? Any ideas
Ok here are some photos of the unit and the Bluetooth system
Ok so it's all wired together, I have taken the 12v supply off the ign wire in the can interface, I just got to fit all the gubbings behind the radio now :-/
I need to get a new parrot blue tooth as mines an older none screen version and I snapped the red off button off so I have to end calls with my phone....
I just dont fancy all the wiring thats involved in swapping to a new one.
So microphone is now routed around the dials, my 12v feed is going to have to come from the fuse box, I'm thinking rear window demist , splice into it and route along the microphone wire
Ok update, everything is hidden, just got to push the cables behind the radio then connect the 12v switched live to the fish box, I'm using the 5A fuse at the top left hand side of the fuse box by the drivers door.
the fuse above the number 11 slot. Tbh I'm sure what is is, I know it controls the beeper on the dash and the glow plug light. Works ok so all good
