Hi all,

I have a 1.4 TSI FR 5F 150 Bhp. I got it remapped to 183 with an induction kit and exhaust. Im looking to go for stage 2 with a hybrid turbo and want to upgrade my intercooler. I used to have an A3 and the intercooler was intergrated in the intake manifold,is it the same for the Leon FR?

If so how can I fit a normal fmic and which intercoolers can i fit?

My theory is i need to re-route the pipes that got to he intake manifold for the air and route them to the intercooler?

Hi Sam6J,

IIRC the intercooler is indeed engine block mounted, not sure if it's integrated though.

What induction kit/exhaust did you go for?

5F is the model code for the mk3 Leon.

Bit like E30, E36, E46, etc. for 3 series BMWs.

Hmm im just wondering where it is

Ive got a custom induction kit my by a company called Racebits and my exhaust is custom made by powerflow. Turbo cat back system
