Footwell Lighting

Has anyone fitted footwell lighting into their Leon?

If so, would you mind posting some photos.

you can get led strip lights on ebay should be able to mount under the inner sill trims

I've never understood the point of footwell lighting why do you want to see your feet?

Its not so I can see my feet! It is because I want some more light when I get into the car and in my Merc i've got footwell lighting which is actually very handy, hence want the same in the Leon

I suppose it would be handy though as I have a habit of stepping in SH1T and would stop me treading it into my nice clean carpet mats!!!!!

Plus is very useful for when you have to tack in the mats back in when they have worked loose, or you have dropped something small in the footwell.

used to have an LED Flexi strip under the dash for when doors open - ripped it all out now though

Still cannot understand it may friend How can footwell lighting give you any more "usefull" light than you get from the normal interior light when getting into the car
