Hi everyone ive seen on this site somewhere before a guide on how to test the dv to see if there ok, however ive been searching and cannot find it anywhere, could someone please tell me the quick test to check them.
Im pretty sure its as follows -
Push the piston up with your finger or a pencil,
Hold your thumb on the pipe for the vacuum,
If it drops back down its leaking
If the piston stays where it is then its ok.
What faults would this cause if the piston is sticking or the valve not holding . As far as i can tell its ok and the noise is not a chatter but just wanted to check it and ive stripped, cleaned and re-greased it.
Also is there a refurb kit you can get from forge, with new seals and grease etc... as im sure i read that the very nice kind people from forge give them to you for free as part of there great customer service
