formentor air bag warning light

Hi ,i have a 23 plate car and went out this am to go to work ,and my airbag warning light and engine management light both came on ,question ,should i try the old trick of the battery power off for 30min or buy a code reader ,if i buy the code reader which one will work please i have a android phone ,or should i just leave it be until my next car service in 10 months time thxs Richard

update from the cupra garage ,on why my air bag light had come on.
1,battery was running low,
2,cupra has sent out new software upgrade for the airbag,,software has now been uploaded to my car.
3,cabin control module ,which operators my sunroof and inside lights is defective .new part has been ordered ,awaiting this to be installed
