Looking at some genuine feedback from users running this software on this engine before I take the plunge. How do you find it, and how does the car feel compared to stock initial low down , mid range and top end pull etc.

Also has anyone had there's on the dyno with this software and can share the results or dyno graph.

I have see 2 previously on a GTD with the same engine and the torque figures were quite different one was 354 ft lb one was 385 ft lb 2 different cars done in the same dyno running Revo stage 1. Power was almost identical at around 230bhp.

Thanks Rick

Very very happy with mine. Couldn't go back to stock. I did experiment with a DTUK box before and although it's not as immediately aggressive as that, it's a damn sight more consistent with no engine light warnings at all. Very smooth to drive with a real kick when you need it to go when in 2nd and 3rd, and some extra more subtle pull higher up for those motorway overtakes. That's my very unscientific experience on it! I'd very much recommend.

Yeah I looked at the dtuk boxes myself there figures look impressive to be honest but in my head I remap is better as it's not a piggy back solution. Do you find an increase in fuel consumption or around the same as stock ( dependant on how heavy your right foot is of course.

I'm looking at buying a used ST FR TD184 with the intention of a Revo stage 1 remap, can I ask to help my search for cars is it better for me to look for a manual or DSG? or can the auto handle the extra tourque without any issues? would I also need a DSG remap too or am I better looking for a manual gearbox anyway, i've never driven an auto of any kind in 30 yrs
cheers guys...
