FR for ECO??

im thinking of trading my tdi fr in for a new ecomotive SC!!
to save me money in the main and the hard ride on the fr is hard to live with everyday.

am i mad lol?!

has anyone got one and ECo? how long will i have to wait for one if i ordered it?

and one last thing how much would my car be worth.....

july 2007 07 FR tdi 130 3 door in brisa metallic blue with 21k on the clock in excellent condition.

How much is it going to cost to change?
How much is it going to save you per mile?
So how many miles is it going to take before it pays for itself?

Bear in mind you're going to thrash the ecomotive to get anywhere.

In a short answer
Yes you are mad, TDI's get fantastic economy anyway! I'm not sure the Eco would be much better if better at all and you'd miss the power I'd assure you.

Why dont you think about buying a tuning box for the car, That way you can have one series of settings for racey mode and one for economy!

im doing 400+ miles per week at the moment and is likely to carry on for a while with work, about £50/60 a week in fuel bills.....

plus i often find myself doing well over the national speed limit racing the petrol head crew (my own fault) eco get 800+ miles per tank its been voted the worlds most conomical car in its class with a guy got 970 miles out of one tank.....i know probably going at 45mph everywhere!!!

I can get about 650-700 to my diesel.... it was a PD100 mind but 130 with a eco map should be no different.
If you made my motorway journeys all motor ways I reckon I could push 800 @ 60mph

im getting 550 to a tank not bad not brilliant? i use the extra the power all to often
