Fr tdi 150 problem

Quick question for a mate with an fr tdi 150, which has been mapped by Celtic Tuning. He had a rolling road the other day and car wouldn't rev past 3800 rpm in 6th. Possible sticky vnts? And any tips on fixing it?

Forgot to mention car was mapped by celtic tuning not long ago. Could this be a factor at all?

Depends if it restores power after switching the ignition off and on again then it could be sticky vanes, could be clogged intake manifold if it's never been cleaned before. It might be worth checking the maf but I think they're usually redundant after a remap, try unplugging it and see if it improves. Does he normally have bother when he's driving or is iot just a new thing?

Only happened on the rolling road, he'd never had it happen before. I'll ask about the ignition thing to see if it resets again
