As stated in one of my previous threads i was going to provide some info on my headunit change. I first purchased a chinese Erisin MFD style 878T from Ebay for £243 which i kept for about 2 weeks because it was a total waste
It may have all the features but is really made for VW cars and dont get me started on the sound quality which is just dogs bollocks. It was a pain in the ass to get up and running and a replacement also which delayed things even more. So I decided to sell it and go for the Pioneer AVH-3300BT which ended up making a £50 loss on the chinese headunit in 2 weeks
So I found the Pioneer on Roadradio.co.uk for £266 but i presume it is £282 now. I got the DVD bypass done to it too because the player just showed a blue screen even with the handbrake up which was odd lol. In total with all the parts the Pioneer cost me £342 approx which I am definately happy with now and if any of you guys are looking for double din units, believe me this is the one to go for.
I positioned the bluetooth mic to the underside of my dash where the speedo is which looks neat enough in my opinion and was the only place i could get it to lol..
So guys always pay the price for the real things and not to cut corners and find cheaper products because most of the time they will be crap and believe me i have learnt that now.
Below are pics of the 2 units before and after, and if anyone wants to know the parts needed i will list them too.
PS: Just like to thank sclarkson82 for his help
