hello people my name is chris and i now live in the west of ireland and have moved from birmingham.Ive just brought a seat leon cupra 20v turbo 1.8.
I was a renault nut and mainly owned a few renault 5s gt turbo and the last one i had was a glacier white one on a j plate i owned that for the last 4 half yrs before i sold it to my move to ireland.after working on them for many yrs im use to getting my hands dirty
it was all standard and nothing modified i looked after it very well.
my brother also owns a seat ibiza cupra and that where i thought that theses are quick cars and not bad looking insude either,or a more solid way of saying a new built faster renault 5 lol.
i was on the look out for the ibizas but my bro mentioned about the leons i had a look at them and i always liked the look of them but didnt know nothing about them and from now owning one im pretty impressed
its on 101k miles on it,its alot i know but the car is 9 yrs old and has done its miles its well looked after it also has its few problems but compared to the 5 its not all bad
ill put some pictures up some time tomorrow or on the weekend.
As im new to all things seat i was just wondering on where is the best place to jack up the car and to leave on axel stands all the car underneath seems soft and no where realey on where i can jack the car up(i.e sub frame)
ive been told the oxygen sensor need changing(got it checked out on the machine) as the little orange light has come on,diagnosis light the senosr is located on the down pipe on the exhuast im guessing(1st one)
