Front door lock - number of pins

2010/2011 Altea XL - do the front door lock modules have 8 or 9 pins or do I need to go looking...... Both driver and passenger locks are not behaving as they should and before I sell on it will need correcting.

9 pins on the drivers door and 8 pins on the passenger door. Had a happy door dismantling day in the sunshine yesterday!
