G3 Scratch Remover (Halfords) STRONG!

Hi Guys

Just wanted to share with you i tried the new G3 Stratch Remover from Halfords on a small scratch on my bonnet. Applied exactly as per instructions with the G3 Applicator. This stuff is very very harsh, so please be carefull and use plently of water to lubricate (this isnt specified on the bottle).

It removed the scratch but left a hell of a lot of micro marring that i will need to machine polish out at the weekend, Megs 80 should hopefully do it.

I am confused - why didnt you machine polish to begin with?

How deep was the scratch??? Bloody cat keeps sitting on my car , and has left scratches all over the bonnet ( slides off after I've polished it ) . Looking to find something to get rid of the scratches as some are quite deep.

I was at g/f and wanted shot of it there and then but i know should have waited and done it properly..

Only small scratches could have been my neighbours cat to be honest, as long as you cant get your finger nail into the scratch you should be able to remove it, if by hand try Scratch X or the G3 but go careful. Scratch X will take longer as not so strong. If the scratches are really small they can be hidden pretty well with multiply applications of Autoglymn SRP.

G10 is better, it's A LOT milder.
