Hi,
Hope someone can help with the above issue i'm having with my car. The TC light is constantly on. Had it scanned with VAG.COM and typed the fault code into the Rosstech site and get the following
00493 - ESP-Sensor Unit (G419): No Signal/Communication
Possible Symptoms
Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) active
Possible Causes
Wiring/Connectors from Brake Electronics (J104) to ESP-Sensor Unit (G419) faulty
ESP-Sensor Unit (G419) faulty
Possible Solutions
Check Wiring/Connectors from Brake Electronics (J104) to ESP-Sensor Unit (G419)
Check Measuring Value Blocks (MVB)
Replace ESP-Sensor Unit (G419)
Special Notes
The ESP-Sensor Unit (G419) contains several individual Sensors like the Rotation Rate and/or Transverse Acceleration Sensor.
00493 - ESP-Sensor Unit (G419): No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaptation
Possible Symptoms
Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) active
Possible Causes
Basic Setting of ESP-Sensor Unit (G419) not performed
Possible Solutions
Perform Basic Setting for ESP-Sensor Unit (G419)
Special Notes
The ESP-Sensor Unit (G419) contains several individual Sensors like the Rotation Rate and/or Transverse Acceleration Sensor.
The points in bold is what i'm hoping can be done via VAG.COM. Has anyone else had this fault?
