gear stick shaking, normal?

Hi guys,

I picked up my car 3 weeks ago, seat ibiza fr 1.4 tsi act.

But since I've picked it up I've noticed when the car is in gear, but when I'm not accelerating and going over any sort of bump in the road the gear stick shakes all over the place. Even when I'm accelerating I can move the stick quite a bit which doesn't feel right.

Does it sound like something that might go away with a few more miles or should I take it to be looked at?

It'll be a manual; I'd suggest taking it to the dealer, no harm in that.

Yeah manual, was hoping it wold get better with a few more miles but not really improved at all since I picked it up. I shall get it booked it cheers

Perhaps a failed/ insecure gearbox mount? In any case definitely need to get it looked at.

Yeah defiantly drop it back into them as something sounds like it's loose
