Going from FR170 to Cupra

Hi all. I’ve owned my 2010 FR170 DSG for 5 years and I love it to bits. However I have a chance to buy a 2011 Cupra and I am certainly tempted.

Just wondered if anyone has made this switch before, and if the extra fuel and maintenance costs are worth it?

Sorry never owned a MK2 but couple years ago we had an active meets scene and there were lots of Cupra's which all the owners just loved.

Having said that so did all the other MK2 Owners, the best advise I can offer (with no experience) is take one for a test drive and see if it gives you more smiles than you current motor and or has better kit inside. I think the Cupra has the very nice bucket seats which look very cool and are comfy.
