Hi all, does anyone know if the sun visors in the golf are the same as the leon mk1 as they have the lights in them (well the switch and the light in the roof lining) that the LC doesnt have (LCR does but in black) and come in grey?

Also anyone wired these in before and did you take the power from the interior light? Cant be a difficult job surely!!

Cheers all

Hey, Ive been looking into the same thing myself. My mate has a golf and the arm the visor swings on is the same as is the actual sun visor. Another mate said they would be easy to fit using a split from the interior light switch and running it behind the roof lining. I have yet to do this myself but should be easy enough.

Is the LCR roof linign black or beige do you know? I have a beige roof lining and think it would look better in black.

mad i thought that the lc's didnt have them but seems that the newer the cupra the less they have. Noticed on another one the other day that the rear parcel shelf had a spring wound string that kept the shelf hang cables nice and tidy but mine doesnt have it and a 12v socket in the boot aswell. The LCR does have black roof liner and pillar covers. Would like to put it in mine but have a grey pillar pod and the w8 interior light (which doesnt come in black) so wont bother at the moment but i will have to find out if the golf sun visors are the same cos would be an easy mod then to just link them to a constant live and earth. Anyone find out let me know and i will do the same. Cheers lads

my '51 plate se has a wind up mechanism for the rear parcel shelf. But no lights in the visors, which would be useful! No 12v in the boot though.

What were Seat playing at?! I know its been said but the standard across the range of leons is awful, it must have changed every other week!
