I checked under my oil cap and saw some white stuff..
I know you can get it from condensation.
Does this mean i have a blown head gasket or can i have gotten it when the car was parked for about 5 months and not driven?

The car runs smooth and i have no problem with overheating or anything..

The car is an Seat Leon Cupra 1P MK2 with 320HP..

Please help! :help:

Thank you Mike for the welcome! :)
There is none on the dipstick and just very small amount of white under the oil cap (around 5-10% white).

I car share so only drive the car every other week.
When i am not using it the wife is just doing short trips and i get this emulsion.

When i use it for work again it disappears.
Never had any issues with the engine or leaks.

Give it a long run to get it warmed up properly and then check the cap again.

Sounds like condensation rather than head gasket going by the usage the car gets, I wouldnt worry too much, if you are going to get a good run off it, you should be ok and will defo know if its ok then.

Its always good to blow the cobwebs out every now and again and give the car a good run.

If it were an engine from the 70/80s then it might be the head gasket but it's on a 2.0 tfsi engine so it'll just be a bit of condensation.
