Grab handles

Hi,

Can you get dampened grab handles for a MY07 Altea? Alternatively would ones from a golf/golf plus fit?

he'd be hard pushed to hold onto a sunglasses holder to get out of the car , come on Merino where r u ?

Maybe I should get hold of four sunglasses holders instead .

I think I'll experiment with sticking a bit of sponge or something in the hollow bits underneath the handles where they are screwed on just so they don't clack back into place...

My Bora used to have them, and the Altea doesn't. I only used mine for when I needed some idle amusement at the lights (for example) and never used them for actually grabbing hold of.

The Jesus handles dont get used that much to worry about, only when you go over 45mph with your aunt or gran.

Sorry about the delay, I've only just read your post. All you need to do is flip down one of the tiny panels that cover the screws that attach the handle to the roof. That way the handle stays down, but you can also flip it up, it will stay in whatever position you leave it in. Hope that helps, even though I highly suspect that your quandry is not relevant anymore...
