Guide to remove/refit centre console?

Hi i was wondering if it could be possible to take out my centre console from a mk2 leon to retrofit a different one for example golf centre console with armrest? Would the clips and holes etc match similarly or would it not even fit. Also if anyone has done this before if you could direct me towards it. Thanks.

You’d be better off Saving yourself the hassle and just buy a air rest for the Leon centre console. They sell them on eBay need to search for it buddy.
