headlights have to be white or yellow, no other tint (as been told over and over by my uncle lol)

I never been into modding lights tbh :)

this thread has come in handy cos standard lights are poo especially when im setting off for work at 5:45 am and coming home when its getting dark. there are some in halford for 14.99 the 50% extra light ones. Anyone got them?

Don't go to halfrauds! Just because they work in ripspeed doesn't mean they know what they are talking about ;) (in my opinion, down to experience anyway) You can get them cheaper online :)

i agree gonna goto autobulbs.co.uk (i think thats them) and order from them. have you seen the ripspeed focus they built? it looks erm......different lol

Hid =yes

i got some halfrauds extremem briliance ones (came with my old BMW but converted it to HIDS) and there ****!

used these in the BMW! amazing

so for a Cupra/sport GTi the kit you want is: h1 Bulb
NON GTI will want H4 bulbs

any of these colours will do!

would recommend the 8000k looks better in real life! like a really white white with a tint of blue! [B)] never got pulled for em always goes through MOT no probs [B)]

and at that price there cheaper then buying 2 of helfrauds own supreme extreme **** bulbs!

I had the halford ones on my Passat (pervious owner) and comapre them to my Osram Nightbreakers on the Ibiza they are sh!t. I would recommend the Night breakers anyday they are really good!

For the GTi lot you will need;

4x H1 (2x High beam, 2x Main beam)
2x H3 (Fog Lights)

It all sounds so confusing plus I wouldn't know where to start with the wiring or I would go for the HID kit! I didn't actually realised what it involved.
Those bulbs you've put on there Dave are they just for the HID or is that how many bulbs I would need anyway?

nope side lights are different.... not sure on the code/name for them but them common as muck, so just look up side lights
