OK bit of a problem, I'm using the Cordy and it has no rear seats, but I may have to pick up my 6month old son from nursery because my wife can't get there due to the weather again.

Now I can't put his seat in the passenger front due to the airbag so need to disable this. Is there anyway to do this easily? Fuse etc?

Failing that I'll be dismantling the dash and ripping the wires out the back as a last resort.

Pete

can't remember the fuse - sorry

must admit though once the lower shelf is out it's only 5/6 screws to take the airbag out altogether

the connector is on the back but i think the frame is too heavy to get at it

you could unplug the drivers airbag from the column to disable it but personally if it was my kid i would take the whole bag out.

how close is the baby seat to the airbag when it is fixed in the passenger seat. have you trial fitted it to see if the air bag will hit it on impact, if the worse should happen?

i do know that it does come out pretty easy though as i took one out of my 97 2.0 16v cordy while stripping it about 6 months ago. there`s afew screws behind the dash panel that i pulled off. you can just put glove box in its place
