Hi everyone,
I own a 2020 Seat Leon e-Hybrid and recently got a P0498 error code (EVAP System Vent Valve Control Circuit Low). The check engine light is on, but the car otherwise drives fine.
I’m looking for help with the following:
Thanks in advance for your help!
I own a 2020 Seat Leon e-Hybrid and recently got a P0498 error code (EVAP System Vent Valve Control Circuit Low). The check engine light is on, but the car otherwise drives fine.
I’m looking for help with the following:
- Exact location of the EVAP vent valve (N80 or equivalent) on the 2020 e-Hybrid model. I have read it might be near the air filter box or integrated with the charcoal canister, but I can’t find a definitive answer for this specific model.
- Links to the correct spare part(s) – OEM part number or trusted suppliers. I know some VW/Seat models use part numbers like 05C906423E or 06E906517A, but I’m not sure if that applies to the e-Hybrid.
- DIY feasibility – Is this something a reasonably handy person can replace themselves? Do I need special tools, or is it just a matter of unclipping hoses and swapping the valve?
Thanks in advance for your help!
