Hello guys. Hope somebody can help me out. My mates mk3 Ibiza 1.6 sport has recently developed a list of faults. I plugged the car into vag-com after the engine management light appeared on the dash, and the following faults appeared:

16486 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too Low
P0102 - 35-00 - -
17523 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating Circuit: B1 S1: Short to Ground
P1115 - 35-00 - -
17525 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating Circuit: B1 S2: Short to Ground
P1117 - 35-00 - -
17829 - Secondary Air Injection Solenoid Valve (N112): Short to Ground
P1421 - 35-00 - -
17843 - Secondary Air Pump Relay (J299): Short to Ground
P1435 - 35-00 - -
17833 - EVAP Purge Valve (N80): Short to Ground
P1425 - 35-00 - -
17923 - Intake Manifold Valve (N156): Short to Ground
P1515 - 35-00 - -

Thanks in advance.

and the car still runs?
delete them all and try it again after 1 hour of driving it then see what dtc's youve got.
with them codes it would be running a little bit rough.
possible earthing problem has more than likely caused that or flat battery at some point

Thanks for the speedy reply! Yeh the car seems to run fine. One thing we have noticed though is very poor fuel consumption.

I did clear the faults, but they re-appeared after starting the engine. The battery hasn't run flat, but i did disconnect it after the faults appeared to reset the ecu.

Any other suggestions?

Cheers Ollie.

Hello mate. Yeh i found a blown 10a fuse for the lambda sensor i think. When i replaced it all the faults cleared only to re-apear when the fuse blew agen

So obviously something is electrically amiss to keep blowing this fuse. Maybe a dodgy lambda sensor?
