Hi guys.
I've buy my Leon 1P Fr Facelift at just a few mouths ago, completly original, without any modification, so ive begin to search more, and make a list of future modifications (just some mod's, not too much).
One of the first thing i want to do, is change my Headlight bulbs, my car dont come with HID's kit from factory, and the original halogen bulbs are not too good and of course, the yellow light is not so pretty as the white ones.
Ive search a little about the LED conversion kits. and buy one of that Kits (Auxbeam H7 F-16 Series).
Ive received the kit, but when i try to install it, ive been with some doubts, and stop the installation until have some answers about it.
My doubts are, as you probably should know, the protector cap in the back of the headlight to protect against the water, dirt etc are in a hard plastic (not that kind of rubber with the bulb conection outside). The LED lamp is bigger than the normal H7 Halogen lamp, and in the back of the lamp have the Fan, when i put the lamp ive seen when i closed the protector cap, the ventilation is completed sealed from the outisde, the end of the cooling fan have not more than 1cm between the end and the protector plastic.
I'm affraid that being the cooling fan inside of the headlight with the hard plastic sealing completly the outside ventilation can overheat and damage the bulf and more important the headlight or the car wires.
If you can help me with more information I would be very grateful.
Cheers.
