help with indicators

hi all, i need help with the indicators on my seat. its a 98 (r) 1.9 tdi. i changed the stock as i was told it might be that. the problem is that the indicators wont flash but the hazzard lights still work. anyone got any advice??

IIRC? the indicators and the hazards are two seperate switching circuits, as in both systems have their own set of relays, as it's only the indicators that are not working on both sides? then either as you say the stalk is U/S, but you have replaced that, the fuse/s has/have blown? or you have lost both relays for the indicators!

hi mate, both indicartors ie right and left do not work atall. the thing is i cant seem to find the relay/s for the indicators. the car was working fine untill friday. then they just stoped working as i was taking it for an mot
i have stripped the fuse box, there is no broken fuses anywhere but i dont know what relay it is that controlls the indicators.

any help with this would be great
