Help with Sony CDX-GT610UI Headunit

Hi All,

This headunit has been in the car since ive had it from my uncle.... only decided to use the usb connection to play music for the first time today, but when i connect it in, it will play the song for about 30 seconds then stop and then displays 'error' . if i unplug the usb stick and then replace it it immedialty displays 'error' again..

any ideas?

what size stick is it?whats it formatted to?

this was a 8gb stick, had 180 songs on it and kept playing up so i removed all the songs and kept 1 song on and that played in the headunit fine.... then i put 10 songs on and get the same problem.. got another 4gb stick today which im going to try tomorrow..

not sure what you mean by formatted too....

formatting is how the memory stick has been written to save files
