help with turbo actuator

hi have had my car remapped today running currently at 224bhp but been told by garage today that i need to replce turbo actuator where do i get one reasonable priced as i will gain an extra 29bhp thanks

ive always wondered if changing standard actuator for forge k03s one would have any significant benifit?

hi i have silicone tip pipe induction kit stainless steel exhaust decat pipe intercooler and remapp but the remapp has a few extra tweeks also a adjustable fiel regulator

Ah ok so possible stage 2 map. Now why do they suggest a new actuator? Is yours sticking?

no when the turbo gets up to 1.3 the actuator is making a noise and the acutator gets to 4thousand revs in 4/5th then drops the boost down to 0.9 instead of 1.3 so was told the actuator is weak thanks

you will not gain 20 BHP from a new one, the Ko3s is not capable of making over 235 BHP and thats full stage two!! it is not posible to get a high enough air flow into the turbo to create more than that!!!! but like you said he tunes cars alday long and knows his bullshit so probably makes loads telling people this **** and them thinking yea why would you lie, it might make it hold boost better but WONT give you an extra 20 BHP log your G/S an then take the peak number and divide it by 0.8

yes did answer i will get my print out and post it on here over the next couple of days like i said running 224 now and i dont know what else i will gain vai the actuator only asking a question to find out my options on a new but fair price actuator

no i understand ur not trying to be a **** i was just stating what i got told i have rung seat and they will do me an actuator for 46 pound all in so im not sure if i will get more bhp when actuator is on willhave this done next week and see do u think i will gain a bit more bhp when actuator is done as the trouble is at 4000 revs its letting off boost
