I'm FloorShakerMusic and I have a 63 plate Leon FR 2.0 TDI and it's the 2 door version, in red.
I absolutely love it and have had it for 3 years and almost 80k miles. I bought it at 80k and its now at almost 160k.
I have driven from the UK, to to Germany twice and the other side of Poland once, in it (Chelm, for anyone that knows it, it's very almost Ukraine) and it managed a highly respectable 144mph on the autobahn without any fuss (I was very proud XD).
I haven't personally remapped it but I definitely have my suspicions that it has already been done, the acceleration used to make my stomach go funny (i came from a 2.0 diesel Civic type S) when I first bought it and still amuses my passengers. This and the Autobahn speed makes me sure, I plan on doing a rolling road and possibly some stock+ mods at some point, but for now I just enjoy it.
I've recently changed the cam belt on it for the second time, so the car is going to be mine until it dies now (I prolong that as much as I can by giving regular maintenance, I would definitely shed a few tears if she broke lol) and I'm planning on doing as much of my own maintenance as reasonably possible. So hence the reason for joining the forum!
I've already got a problem to discuss, so I'll leave this post here and go start the other lol.
