Hi,

Just introducing myself. First time SEAT owner, but had a few different VAGs in the past, ranging from the usual suspects, from mk2 & 4 Golf GTI's, V6's, Passats etc... through to a few Audi 2.0 TDI's (an 8P A3 and a couple B8 A4's), and even an S4 (in V8 form of course).

Now though, life catches up, and I have just bought my first SEAT. An Alhambra. Woes on the drive home, but that is for my help thread.

Shame though, I was looking forward to coming back to VAG ownership (I've been over to the darkside recently with BMW's (335d and current 530d both in Touring form) and Range Rovers(a 4.6 and a 4.0 V8)). But this has tainted it a little. Hopefully it will be a relatively cheap / easy fix, and I can get back to planning upgrades.

The new Alhambra models look really nice, I’ve not got a family (yet) so don’t warrant purchasing a larger vehicle, the SE trim looks really nice and ideal for family road style holidays.

Ah yes. If only it was a new one. Alas, this is a vehicle that while being used to ship the kids around, is also going to be used for a reasonable commute. So I didn't want to be putting ~25k per year on a new one. In the end, I bought a 2007 2.0 TDI.

Hi folks. I recently got a Leon FR TDI after having owned Japanese cars and a couple Vauxhalls in the past. So far loving being a VAG owner. I'm considering tuning mines and looking at a cheeky mod or 2 in the future.
