HiDs in the Cupra!

Hey guys!

Newish to the forum (Long time Lurker) and I've got a 08 plate Cupra k1

Was just wondering..

I picked up the Slim Canbus Terminator HID 35w Xenon Conversion Kits with H7R

When I went to fit them I'm getting pretty confused since it looks like the main beam is connected to like a metal block (Don't have pictures at the moment)the kit I got doesn't really look much like what my car has fitted.

I was wondering If anyone could give me a link to a post where someone has installed the Hids so I can check that I'm looking at the same thing!

I thought the main beam was untouched an the dipped beam bulb is the one you swap with the HID

I've tried looking for guides on the forum but I can't find one.. Although I'm sure someone will prove me wrong... haha

The Hids a for the dipped beam, the one behind the hard plastic over with the two metal prackets which hold it in place. Open that up and pull off the back plastic power supply connected to the existing h7 bulb, put in your hid and then connect the spades of the ballast up to the black connector which was on the back of the original bulb...hey presto you're all sorted.
