High level brake light

Wonder if anyone can help?? On my high level brake light one of the bulbs in not lit is this an easy fix i.e single bulb replacement or does the unit have to be replaced? and the cost if anyone knows. Thanks

They are a one piece unit so the complete unit will need replacing.

If the car is under warranty - just like the LED headlights and tail lights - a failed led needs the unit replacing by the dealer.

The car is 4 years old and I took out an all component extended warranty in March and am not sure if this would be covered. May give Seat CS a phone and see. The wording in the warranty policy is a bit ambiguous so I'm not sure.

When I was looking at extending the warranty - I was told if an LED unit failed - they would cover it.
If it cracked or leaked but the led's were all still working - they would not cover it.

where do I go about buying one of these units?

I'm in need of a replacement as a single bulb has blown on my brake light. Can't seem to find a genuine part on eBay.

Mine was replaced under extended warranty as the unit was cracked and is a known fault.
I enquired about the cost and was told if not under warranty would have been in the region of £ 95 fitted

I also have this issue so I think I will need a new unit. Also whenever I brake the high level brake lights flash really quickly. Would you expect that to be the unit or a brake light switch? Thanks
