I have been experiencing a weird hissing/air noise from the drivers side and it sounds like its coming from the wheel area as when I driving it can be heard but soon as i apply my brakes it stops. It only happens when I dont apply my brakes.

Could this mean that there maybe air in my braking system on the front drivers side?

I have googled this problem on google and it came up with something to do with the brake booster??

Where would I be able to find this and would it be an easy/cheap fix or exp/garage job?

sounds odd - I suggest you get it checked by a garage or a dealer if under warranty.

as long as you are sure its not the tyre! I suppose you'll find out tomorrow!

The local garage have told me its the brake servo and something to do with the pressure leak. The sound itself is like pressure is leaking from somewhere around the drivers side.

Would you think the servo has gone or jus the pipes need checking as the brakes are really sharp so would not expect the servo to be changed as brakes are working fine.

I had the same issue and it was the brake servo quite common according to the dealer and they had it for 2 days!! luckily it was under warranty.

I've no idea but it's a big job, the engine needs to be moved forward off its mounts although looking at some of the feeds on here people have attempted themselves but I think you'll need alot of courage and skill lol.
