The computer in the Leon doesn't seem to behave the way I'm used to from the Ibiza and Golf. I thought if you press the reset button once to get into memory 2 then push and hold it should reset... except it isn't

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I can reset memory 1 just not memory 2...

I've never tried to reset my bank2, but id have thought holding the res button would do the trick if its do able. i was under the impession, thats the average data since the vehicle was started first time round, and bank1 resets every 2 hours after ignition is turned off.

im happy to go try mine though if you want.

Select trip computer, if not on trip 2 already, select it. Now hold ok button in for a few seconds and it resets:)

my mpg 1 resets every few hours , mpg 2 resets with a held press of the ok button on the steering wheel and the trip odometer resets with the button on the instrument cluster

Yeah that's what I tried but doesn't seem to work, although holding the OK button in trip 1 does reset

Just been out now, seems to be working now :)

On a side note I'm impressed how economical the 1.4 TSI is, managing 35-40mpg so far and that's just on short runs around town with a few traffic light GPs. The old 1.4 in my Ibiza used the same/ more fuel whilst been considerably slower!
