I told you over on the other thread lol

Front seats - 2 nuts at front of seat, 10mm i think. Then go to back of seat, remove screws holding plastic trim to runners, then seat can roll back and out

Back seats - Just unclip. If you pull the bottom bits out first, you'll see how they are connected to the chassis.

Do your standard seats have airbags? If not you will not have any way of connecting the cupra seats' airbags up

Ah right thanks lol. Yes my current seats have airbags, will I need to disconnect the battary to ensure I dont get an airbag warning light?

Can do, i didn't when i changed mine, but its advisable. Leave it for around 15mins or so after disconnection before taking them out, and all should be fine :)

Cool, thats what I did when I changed the steering wheel, there goes my theory of removing all the seats but one and then going off to collect the set in my car lol. My uncle-in-law has a VW Sharan Tdi hes going to take me in to collect the new seats.

Can you disconnect the battery and remove seats before you collect the new ones? Then all you have to do is fit the cupra ones when you get back ;)

Silly question Gez, is it easier to remove the front seat through the back door or the front?

Just slide til it comes out of the runners, then out through the front door. Pretty simple, just awkward cos of the angle you'll be at, and the weight and shape of the seat :)

Luckily I dont have any electrics to worry about :)

Right was just outside sussing this job out, figured out how to remove nuts and bolts and front seats, and how to remove the part you sit on int he back, but I cant for the life of me figure out where the airbag connector is in the front seats and how to remove the rear seat backs!

The rear seat backs you fold them flat and theres a locking latch at the corner near the door. Just push it back with a screw driver then lift it out of the groove and pull the seat away from the centre trying to keep it as level as possible.

The front ones. Do as gez has said and remove all bolts and screws then slide the seat of the back, lift it forwards a bit when out of the rails and let it lean back. The plug is right underneath in the middle of the seat. Think there's some kind of catches on it which will need some small screwdriver to release (what i did)

You can drive it with only the drivers seat in but you it will bring up an airbag error which you will need to get cleared when your new seats have been fitted. So much fun with only a drivers seat tho :p
