Be the same with the LCR brakes. Though you should all probably be aware your standard wheels won't fit over them. The calipers stick out quite a lot. When I had my MK4 Cupra I never bothered changing the wheels as it was too hard to find any that fit!

LCR discs are large and you'll need at least 17" wheel.

Don't forget the Ibiza has less mass to slow down than a Leon also so the breaks will feel a lot stronger.

So while this topic is 'hot' then (plus i cant seem to find a yes or no answer via search). Will the LCR 4pots and discs bolt straight on to a 2001 auq cupra?
cheers

I'm going to throw my opinion into the fray here, There were very few wheels that fitted over the Ibiza. The spoke clearance had to be huge. I had the Ibiza MK4 with the Seat Sport bodykit. I bought the wheels to match the official bodykit and they didn't fit over AP Racing brakes.

Several wheels I tried over time, Nothing fit.

LCR wheels might be Okay because they are 18s?
But I would rather go down Badger 5 route of the 330mm custom discs, 2500 pads, brake lines and fluid

I did that on my LCR and it was a weapon on the track, the ap calipers wont give you much difference

Also those will be brembo's because thats a MK3, Probably the same if not worse than your LCR.

I dont have a LCR, just a LC (i say just). Not planning to do anything right now, but while the topics hot, i can get my questions in and prepare for a bit further down the line. The callipers on that mk3 i posted the link to, im presuming will be better then the standard ones i have on my LC
Cheers for the info :)
