Hi

just fitted the ihi vf 34 (@1.4 bar) on my cupra r and baypassed n75 (i have a forge manual boost controller); I have the check engine light on and this errors:

17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)
P1297 - 35-00 - -
17535 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Mult): System too Rich
P1127 - 35-00 - -
17545 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Rich
P1137 - 35-00 - -

I will change the MAF sensor and I hope the last two will gone (I' ve done some loggs and the result on 2nd gear at 6800 is 206 g/s) ; is the first one due to baypassed n75 ?

Regards,

mike

You've probably got a leak somewhere.

Why are you changing the MAF? The too rich codes are connected with the mapping. Have you had it remapped to suit the turbo etc?

so , is not because i have baybassed N75 is due to a leak, I will double check;

with regard to last two errors, i found this on the forum

http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/fuel-trim.html

and I did the test indicated at the end, the results were 206 g/s @ 6800 rpm, this is why I thought I should change MAF; also, on idle, the rev is not steady;
yes, i have a remapped ECU after ihi, do you think i should start with re-remap?

206 g/s probably isn't fantastic for the state of tune you're aiming for, but it certainly isn't sick. Another issue would be if your remapping has rescaled your MAF reading dramatically.

I don't really understand what you are saying about your remapping. :confused:
