Indicator stuck permanently on

Evening everyone, bit of a strange one, was indicating right early today when got the failed lamp light up on the dash. Thought that the lamp had just blown but once I stopped to check the lamp was on constantly no flashing? It even stays on when keys are out of the ignition?

Any thoughts/ ideas would be much appreciated

Sounds like the relay is playing up and instead of going on off its just jammed into the position to give power to the bulb all the time. That's what I would say but other people may have better ideas.

Reason I say relay stuck is you should be able to leave your indicator stalk up and have that sides indicators come on and stay on if parked as a safety feature iirc

I thought it was the sidelights that stayed on when left in park mode? I thought relay too but it is only the front indicator?
