Eh it's not exactly plug and play, especially with a N/A engine.

You best bet is contacting the likes of Awesome, JBS, Badger5 and they should be able to price something up for you.

Why not just buy a Cupra?

You probably speaking about it being £4,000 and even with this spend its going to be a massive head ache for some one and would mean you car off the road for weeks.
I would doubt this has been done and would doubt anyone would take it on.

Best off selling your car and buying a Fr/Cupra

I wanted to do the with my 1.6 but was told I need to get custome ECU made as the standard one wont recognize turbo and the engine will blow almost instantly. Custom ECU cost around 2k, so I'm doing conversion :) It will come to more than 2k all in but I'll have more power and I'll know it's gonna be reliable. Complete conversion cost me 2k (There is one on ebay now asking price £1900, it's from golf mk5 GTI but same engine with DSG box) labour will be around £1500, brakes £1000, suspension kit £800, turbo kit £2k, you need to spend at least 4-5k to get it done right so most of people will tell you sell it and buy FR but if you love your car like I do do conversion and I'm sure you'll be proud of your achievement :)

unless your very handy with a spanner or have a bundle of cash to give to someone i'd definitely go with putting it towards a natively faster version. :)

If you decide to sell you should get pretty good money for your car, and you get a FR for 11-12k now. Also take insurance cost into account, for turbod 1.6 you might look at same insurance as FR and you would still have less power as your 1.6 is 102BHP even with turbo won't be near 200 BHP FR has. Still if you got the money and want to keep your car go for it :)
