has anyone attempted to fit MFA stalks to a car that didnt come with it?
Is the wiring already set up or is it more complicated than just swapping the stalk and the clocks?

Also i'm fed up of the crap interval on the intermittent wipe, is there a way of amending the timimg?

the old ford intermittent used to be a pain so we used to direct feed it to a controller from maplins

http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?moduleno=3182

if it has intermittent as standard you'll have to wire it so the normal intermittent switch feeds to the addon relay and then on to the direct supply on the motor

bypasing + recreating the intermittent circuit as it were

lol, ok, ok i'll spill the beans!!

Look in your relay panel for relay 99 if you have one then you already have it!! If not get one from a scrappie off a mk3 golf or corrado. I think the standard relay is no17. swap it for a 99. Start the car then drop the stalk to the intermittent position for 1 swipe then lift it back to the off position for the desired time, then drop i back to intermittent again. This is now the delay set. Then if you need to change the delay (e.g your road speed increases or the rain speed increase and you need to speed them up) go back up to off (from intermittent) for the required time then back down to intermitten and the new delay is set. You can have anything from 2/3 secs to about 20ish so almost every situation is covered!!!

I hope that makes sense!!!
