If you have been thrown a wobbly today when you opened up OBDEleven it appears if you have a Pro license then you have lifetime cover if you haven't that's different:

So it seems existing Pro users don't need to cough up, no need to panic. Did wonder how they would fund SFD access, seems the answer is subscription. Perhaps they will move the app guys onto this or the apps will just cost more. The apps that don't do anything in relation to SFD.
If you haven't got a car effected by SFD and got Pro now, life goes on.... so it seems.
