Is this a Good Deal or Not???

Hi, just wondering what are your thoughts on this deal i was quoted from a local seat dealer today

Car:

March 2007 Leon FR TDI in Crono Yellow
Ex-Demonstrator (4,600 miles)

That's pretty much the same as the car I bought in January (except mine's red and doesn't have Bluetooth).

Mine was ex-demo with just over 4k miles and I paid £16k. Mind you, they gave me a stonking trade-in on my old 54 plate 50k-mile Leon FR too, so I was pretty happy with the deal all round.

Yes, but add to that the cost of the options, Bluetooth, alloys, armrest etc., then the 'however-many-weeks' wait for a new one and the deal starts to look more attractive.

Should point out that Direct SEAT also have this on offer: http://www.directseat.co.uk/nearly-new-seat-cars.php?car=201, which doesn't appear to have any extras at all.

Personally, i was quite happy to pay the £16k asking price since it meant i had my FR at home within a week of deciding to buy one.

I'd say it's quite a good deal, especially if you're as impatient as me! Maybe you should make them an offer on it - I'm sure they'll knock a few further quid off to get the sale.

I will also shop around for another one to compare prices further before deciding which to go for.

Out of interest where from? Was it new or used?

Brand New, from a dealer in NI. Wilsons.
