Juddering/Engine cuts out

I have a 65 plate 2.0L tdi automatic Leon FR. It’s been playing up a lot recently and I can’t solve the problem. Diagnostic throws nothing back so I’m just trying things to sort it myself.

I’ll be driving and all of sudden the car will start juddering - can be in any gear going slow or fast. The rpms drop every time the judder happens and on top of that, sometimes when I come to a full stop I’ll press the acc and it’ll completely cut out and say “start engine manually”

I’ve changed the MAF sensor (no difference) and fit a new fuel filter (no difference). Was looking into a DPF flush and a gearbox service but that’s not going to be cheap. Was going to stick one of those fuel injector cleaner bottles in when I fill up next but don’t entirely trust they even work. Mixed reviews online.

Has anyone else had the same problem or can offer any advice?

Starts up fine and drives fine apart from the problem. It had a new battery in Feb after a major service so I don’t know if it’s power related. The juddering is just becoming more frequent and the cut outs are risky (avoiding busy roads).
I’ve got a couple of cross country drives coming up in the next few months so I’m doing all I can to fix it. It’s deffo due a gearbox service but Seat want £412 and local mechs want £280-£350 so just trying all the cheaper alternatives first.
I’ll try wynns injector cleaner tomorrow unless you can recommend a better one?

If i've had juddering in a car, it's either ignition or fueling. Really hard to suggest anything as don't want to waste your time/money.
