Ive done some searches and not really found what im looking for, so could you please help me. Two quick questions really.

1. In the forge 007p valve there are three springs available. Yellow green and blue, (i think). Which is which i.e blue - strong, green - weaker??? Also which should be installed in my car? (see sig for mods).

2. I was also thinking of going k03s and was wondering could i do this with my mods list but without going for bigger downpipe and race cat. I was just going to put milltek cat back on. I know this is a ristriction but what different powerwise would it make. Is anyone running this set-up? What kind of output would you expect aswell in comparison with k03s with full turbo back system. And would it causing any problems running this through my standard cat?

Any help would be much appriciated, Cheers.

performance wise...a cat back exhaust is hardly any better than standard

it wont cause any problems but its not gonna be anywhere near using its total potential (which isnt a great deal more over k03) so if your looking for performance (why else would u bother with a k03s) then dont skimp and get a downpipe

and dont touch the spring in your dv, pressures wont be largely increased and the standard spring is fine. swapping the springs should be left for the big turbo boys

No i was just wondering which spring it was that was ment to be in there and what the different colours were for out of curiosity that was all, just to check if i had the right one fitted. And the reason being for the exhaust was i didnt want anything over the top sound wise and didnt want a really loud exhaust. I would have thought around 210-220bhp tho?

ok well in newbury were i live the is a duel carriage way that goes off a round about up a hill to a bridge! its called the bridge test my first ibiza was mapped on a o3 turbo and was around 200 bhp and the same torque that made 116 to the brigde and really ran out of puff b4 it got there! then i fitted a o3s with all the bits u need for the conversion but i still had standard dp made 234bhp and abot 270 torque 129mph at the bridge and didnt start slowing down till about 125mph! my new ihi ibiza is 350bhp and about the same torque hits 147 at the bridge it dont slow down it just runs out of road!

was that elaborated enuff?

i wanted you to elaborate on which part you felt i was wrong as you didn't point that out. the above pretty shows me what you meant, however imo that proves very little, i dont fancy chucking figures about as i make it no secret how i feel about people comparing pub figures.at present I'd hope im running 220bhp which imo is maxing out the k03, running it on a dyno for a laugh soon so il see what i get. but wont be very relevant as im not running at jabba

i never say that there is no difference between the k03 and k03s, just that its not the godsend that some people make out

stage 1

dont feel the need to pay the extra 50quid for the upgrade and another 30quid for the fpr

got everything for it just not bothered with it really, the other lads in s.wales have gone stage 2 and imo theres nothing in it

its not pub talk chap its a speed check thats the same for every car every car has the same chance its just the faster cars make the bigger figures! good luck with your 220bhp figure! cant see it myself tho!

Green is for standard cars, yellow for remap, blue/red for bt.
I had a green one in mine until today and now got yellow and the dv is much more responsive. Thats k03s, revo stage 1, downpipe/sports cat, fmic etc.

I dont think anyone has ever said that you *must* have a Sports DP to fit a KO3s, but it is the general consensus, that by fitting the Sports DP, you will get a better response, and improved flow, which equates to smoother and higher power.
