Morning all!

I've been toying with the idea of spraying the vents on my K1 gloss black. I've already got the black and red theme going e.g red car, black wheels, black mirrors, black windows, black roof.

Would it be too much shinyness if you know what I mean?

Or has anyone else don't this with pics?

Done mine satin black think it makes it look cleaner

I've been thinking of doing mine along the same lines. I'm silver and black colouring.

I think it would look good.

No i just cleaned them down and spayed them. Looks alot better in the flesh, i have a spair vent if you lived near me you could have it

Thanks for the offer mate but skipton is a bit far. I'm assuming it's ok to drive the car for a couple of days without the vents while I'm spraying them?

thats mine :)

I did wonder when I seen it, I remember reading the thread when you got those wheels. What coilovers are you running on? It's not far off my own leon ;)

What do you use to detail your car? I've been trying to find a good combo for the red but nothing is really standing out so far

Myt i add NICE RIDE :seatgod:

Thanks Pal.

It's not on coilovers anymore, its now on airbags.
Red is pretty difficult, especially solid red but just use things like dodo juice born to be mild, lime prime, orange crush, megs microfibre correction system, wolf gang wax, red moose just various things mate.

Thanks Pal.

Looks amazing, I've been bouncing back and forth to that picture all day. It's motivated me to get out and detail the car.

No sealant or glaze then? I've heard good thinks about the orange crush, r222 is my preferred for red at the minute, with SRP before it.

What do you think of the mircofibre system? I haven't been too struck over by it. It's good to clean up some light swirls quickly but anyting serious I find it not worth it. I really was expecting rotary performance from it
