Keyless keyfob battery dead

Washed the car and afterwards keyfob stopped working... Luckily had a spare battery. Spare key is with wife at work so thats outta question. Before i found the battery i locked the car with the key under the cover.

Question is.... If you were out and not at home and no spare key. Is there anyway to start the car?

If keyless start on the Leon is the same as it is on VW’s, then with foot on the brake, hold the key fob against the steering column where the key is inserted on non-keyless cars and then press the start button. Engine should start.
