LCR Car Battery

Hi,

My original LCR battery is nearly 7 years old now so I want to replace before winter.

Can any one tell me the best battery to buy but still fits size wise the plastic housing that goes over it in the engine bay.

Just replaced my original as it wasnt holding a charge for any longer then about 4 days if unused.

I opted for a Bosch silver HSB096 battery, exact same dimensions as the original but much higher Start up power (780amps). I paid £125 from halfords cause I wanted it that day but you might find cheaper online

Not sure exactly on size to be able to fit inside OE box but when mine dies i will be looking at Optima yellow tops
