Im thinking of having my Leon remapped. Its my daily commute car so hoping for an increase in MPG?

Ive read about 15bhp increase in power? So then it will be pushing around 140bhp.

Anyone had theres remapped? Whats the normal cost? are revo the way forward?

Tim

There are lost of good companies out there. You have Revo, APR, P-Torque to name a few.
It might help if you post where you are too pal.

after exhaust - intake - remap - should see 155-160bhp ;)

one thing to note when I had my tsi (it was standard on 135-140 on the rollers...but each engine is different I guess or it could be happy rollers)...

Everyone who has had a 1.4 tsi mapped has all said they got around 140 bhp before the map then around 160 after and alot more torque! Is this maybe because its a "live" map??? Better not tell the insurers. Also am i right in sayin revo do a spring sale mite be worth holding on

Better not tell the insurers

Hi bud but is this really good advice? If the insurers find out then technically he is not insured. Now say he has a serious accident with a car filled with family members. What happens now? :ban:

I was refereing to the paper figures vs the actual output not after mods wasnt really clear i suppose, took me a minute after reading again to remember what i was talking about.

Plus, its the induviduals choice. For example, do i need to declare sprayed badges and mudflaps?
