Good evening,
I have a 2003 SEAT Leon 1M PD150, and I would like to confirm whether this model uses a hydraulic or mechanical timing belt tensioner.
Which of the images corresponds to the correct kit?
So far, two parts suppliers have sent quotes based on the first image (hydraulic tensioner), and one of them mentioned that there are two types of kits available: one with a mechanical tensioner and another without a hydraulic tensioner.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I’m not sure but I’d ask AUTODOC tbh. Easy to get the exact oem number for the kit. That’s what I did

I'd be pretty certain it uses a mechanical tensioner.

The mechanical tensioner. But a word of warning, you need the correct water pump as it varies according to VIN. And it's best to get an OEM water pump, plenty of horror stories of people who didn't, but your choice
