hi all

Bascically my Leon Cupra R needs a new downpipe (flexipipe).
I was wondering if I bought this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-LEON...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5d2f69aa2c

Would it be a cheaper option to get the decat? Would it just replace the current Flexipipe(downpipe)?

Please someone let me know asap, as needing this new part is driving me crazy, and the performance of the car is really affected and I need to get it fixed now so the car will sell.
Many thanks

Shite. This is going to cost me a fortune then.

Where can I find a used downpipe for a LCR? :(

LCR downpipe = expensive

If you want cheaper then the only way is to source a secondhand one.

Does it affect performance alot if its the downpipe thats gone?
Infact, what actually goes on one? I'm being told I need one, but when happens to them do you know?

Bumping a very old post, just checking that the Audi TT/S3 downpipe is the same as the LCR? Both look the same?
Cheers
